Excerpt from Chapter 11
I Think, Therefore I am Thinking

We currently inhabit a world where mind over matter and mental power are seen as valuable and respected attributes. A world where personal will is seen as a tool for success. But our thoughts aren’t intended to instantaneously manifest into physical reality. They are not the precursors to achieving what you desire. They are an endless stream of consciousness that flows to that which is designed to receive them, namely a resonant perspective. For example, if you believe that money does not grow on trees, you are more likely to receive input from the collective consciousness that reinforces a mental framework of scarcity.

Thoughts arise to show us our perception of a thing by activating an emotional response, not to change or create the presence of a thing. If you have no emotional response, the thought moves to another receptive mind for the same purpose. As many thoughts are shared information within the collective consciousness, they often do not originate within you, but merely become part of your experience so you can be a conscious witness to their content. This means we do not need to police our mental content. We are being encouraged to relax into the role of witness or observer so that thoughts may be experienced in the presence of awareness, as opposed to the shadows of unconsciousness. If you experience an emotional response or have a belief system activated as a result of some stray thought, your role becomes the willing witness of the content within your mind. In this way, you always offer whatever arises the opportunity to be embraced by the power of your presence through your conscious application of free choice.

Excerpt from Chapter 27
Embodiment

This process of remembering my eternal nature has built momentum and consistency in my way of approaching myself and the world in general. For me, the philosophy sounds a lot like this: I created my own reality as an energetic being for the highest good. An energetic being which I still am as I experience this holographic reality created for the purpose of expansion and evolution. My unique paradigm is all set before me in absolute perfection. I now create my dynamic and ever-changing attitude and perspective about everything that I see, feel, hear, and experience. This includes (but is not limited to) doubt, violence, compassion, persistence, love, failure, judgment, forgiveness, optimism, fear, faith, joy, injustice, resolution, curiosity, boredom, rudeness, kindness and…fill in the blanks. I call this my freewill. All of existence is here for me to embrace. I am here to express my experience of it authentically. This is my eternal purpose.

These ideas have become the ever-present anthem to my day. I am the creator of my experience. What do I wish to create? I already created this reality for my highest good. What intention would be in alignment with my highest good and growth? If before I incarnate all of my life is fixed by the intentions and manifestations of my spirit, what is my contribution? My contribution is to be the character I am here to play with willingness, enthusiasm, and authenticity. The answer comes quickly but the wisdom and faith to apply this knowledge takes practice and patience.

What I wish to create has evolved beyond my mind’s desire to bend reality to its preferences based on society’s conditioning. It has matured into a way of authentically meeting and experiencing reality with an intention to bring the highest perception and consciousness to each moment. This reassuring approach keeps me buoyant during the spiraling days of self-judgment just as it keeps me grounded during the days when I have the sense, I would burst out of my body into a billion pieces if it wasn’t for my skin.
